modern times

In my opinion the movie “Modern Times “ by Charlie Chaplin is a very good movie with a lot of meanings throughout the whole film. I like how Chaplin is very clever when he is trying to prove a point or trying to say something without actually saying the words. For example, when he says that the workingman is being eaten by the machines and then is spit out when he turns crazy in the scene when the little tramp falls into the machine. the ending of the film isvery good because it doesn't have a great ending or a sad ending. it just has an ending where the little tramp leaves with the girl and tells her to smile.

Welcome To My Nightmare

One day I had a nightmare that there was something with me in my room in the corner. I thought I was awake but i didn't feel the same then i spotted the thing in the corner just staring at me while i was laying in my bed. I get up to go to the living room to sleep where we have the christ but it popped up and scared the hell out of me. I tried to open the door but it didn't let me. I started to yell for my parents but it laughed and told me no one could hear me because they weren't anywhere near. i felt really scared and alone and thought i was done for. I held on to my rosary and thought the thing could do me no harm. then I woke up right after.

The Future

I believe in the future will be filled with so many advances that it will start to make our life easier. they will have things like a machine that makes your food and help us in everyday life things. but I think this wont be a good idea.I think we may not like the future because we might advance too much on technology where it will get to the point where we will even be to lazy to walk. i believe that in the future we might lose many things we have today like animals and nature. they might not even be a tree in the future.

when i laughed so hard my stomach....

One time I was during japanese class me and jose were not paying attention because we didn't feel like doing anything that day. So we started to try to talk to each other in japanese but whatever word we didn't know we would say it in english but pronounce it in japanese. so i told him "josesan wa your short des. He responded with "davidsan wa too tall des." Then i responded with your a faggot des. then he told me your gay des. we were like that for a while until the teacher heard us and was shaking her head. Later on throughout the semester we would use that type of language. One when we had to turn in our homework and jose wasn't finished so he turns at me with a serious and tells me copy des and I just started cracking up and couldn't stop laughing because he looked so serious. i almost ran out of breathe.

My Favorite Movies

Two of my favorite movies from all the movies I like are Red Dawn. what I like from Red dawn is that it shows that anyone can accomplish what the need to do if they really want it and work for it. It also shows you that you don't have to be strong to have courage to stand up for what you believe in. I liked how the director made you think the movie was about someone but then kills him and you see that it was about not just one person but a group.

My Thoughts on Bullying

About a year ago when my family went to a party of our family at San Jose i saw something that really disappointed me. I two of my 10 year old cousins laughing with a kid making fun of one of our smaller cousins. They would laugh at him and make fun of him because he liked to dance in parties and didn't care how he was dancing. They would call him names that aren't  appropriate for their age. I heard them call him gay because he was supposedly dancing like a girl. I pulled them aside and told them to stop it because it wasn't right. I told them how they are the younger cousins and they live close by each other so they have to look out for each other from other kids.
